What is an add-on domain?

An add-on domain is a domain that points to a sub-domain. The add-on domain will display the contents of the sub-domain it points to, but retains the web address of the add-on domain.

For example, let's say www.hostedfxisthebest.com is an add-on domain for the subdomain, thebest.hostedfx.com
Visitors to www.hostedfxisthebest.com will see the thebest.hostedfx.com website, but will see www.hostedfxisthebest.com in their browser's address bar.
