What is the difference between a parked and an addon domain?

An addon domain points to a sub-folder on your website and appears as a completely separate and unrelated website when someone views it. You will need to control the Addon domain via the same cPanel that you do the main domain of the account and the Addon domain will appear as a subdomain via the cPanel; dont worry though, when resolving to the web, it will in essence be its own domain.

A parked domain shows the exact same content as your main domain when someone views it. For example, if you have domainA.com created as your main domain, and you park domainB.com on top of it, when resolving domainB.com, it will simply resolve the page for DomainA.com
